Dishwasher/Utility Worker

$15.92–$17.05/hour, based on experience. Part-time evenings, done by 8pm, plus alternating weekends. Join the dining team at Bristol Glen, a nonprofit senior living community in Newton that's been certified a Great Place to Work nine years running.

What you'll do:

  • Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, pots, pans, glassware, and silverware
  • Operate the dish machine and follow chemical-handling and safety procedures
  • Keep the dish room, kitchen, and storage areas clean and organized
  • Handle waste and recycling to community standards
  • Support the dining team with utility tasks during meal service
  • Maintain a safe, clean work environment throughout your shift
What you'll need:

Required:

  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Able to complete a drug screening and background check
  • Able to receive a flu vaccination (medical and religious exemptions available)

Preferred:

  • 1+ years of kitchen or food service experience

Schedule:
Part-time, approximately 3 evenings per week, 4:00pm–8:00pm, plus alternating weekends, 12:00pm–8:00pm.
