Earn $21.01 to $23.63 an hour helping older adults stay independent at Wesley by the Bay in Ocean City, NJ. Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. No weekends. No evenings.
Who You’ll Support
Wesley by the Bay is a HUD-assisted senior apartment community run by United Methodist Communities. Residents live on their own. As their Service Coordinator, you are the person who makes sure they know about, and can get to, the health, home care, and community services that keep them living independently.
What You'll Do
- Connect residents with community resources, services, and programs that support independence and well-being
- Provide regular outreach and support to residents, including those returning from hospital or rehab stays
- Help residents and families navigate care options and plan for changing needs
- Maintain resource information, resident records, and required reports
- Coordinate educational, wellness, social, and enrichment programs that keep residents engaged
- Create resident communications and serve as a liaison between residents and community leadership
- Partner with property management to support resident success and access to available resources
What You’ll Need
Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- 3 years of experience working with older adults or people with disabilities, or in social services in a healthcare setting
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree
Before you start: a drug test, background check, and flu vaccine are required. You can request a medical or religious exemption from the flu vaccine.
