What You'll Do:
- Coordinate and deliver new hire orientation, clinical education, and ongoing staff development programs.
- Manage and track required training, certifications, competencies, and regulatory compliance for CNAs, CMAs, HHAs, and LPNs.
- Oversee online learning platforms, monitor course completion, and follow up on outstanding assignments.
- Serve as the clinical education liaison for student training programs, clinical partnerships, and certification courses
- Support medication administration training and CMA delegation in accordance with state regulations.
- Mentor nursing staff, provide bedside coaching, and promote clinical excellence through education and professional development.
- Maintain orientation, training, competency, and employee education records while supporting resident assessments and care planning as assigned.
- Promote collaboration, communication, and teamwork across departments
What You'll Need:
- Current and active New Jersey RN license required
- CPR certification and IV certified required
- Eligibility and willingness to obtain qualifications to coordinate a State Approved Certified Nurse Aide training program
- 5+ years of nursing experience in long-term care
- Prior experience with geriatric population required
- Strong leadership skills and commitment to quality improvement in resident care
- Knowledge of EMR and basic knowledge of electronic mail system
