Maintenance Associate II

$17.49–$18.65 per hour, based on experience. Full-time role at The Shores, a UMC senior living community within walking distance of the Ocean City beach and boardwalk. Choose a day shift (9am–5pm) or an afternoon shift (11am–7pm or 12pm–8pm), Monday through Friday, with weekend and holiday rotation.

The Shores is a full continuum-of-care campus, independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and rehab, all in one community of about 255 residents. As a Maintenance Associate II, you'll keep the buildings and equipment running so residents, families, and staff feel safe and comfortable every day.

What you'll do:

  • Perform general building maintenance: basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and repair work
  • Respond to and complete maintenance requests promptly and professionally
  • Support the preventative maintenance program so equipment and building systems stay in good working order
  • Keep accurate maintenance records, inspection logs, and PM documentation
  • Order, organize, and manage maintenance tools, supplies, and materials
  • Update and close work orders in the maintenance management system
  • Help maintain a safe, clean environment for residents, visitors, and team members

What you'll need:

Required

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in carpentry, electrical, and plumbing work
  • Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Able to pass a drug screening and background check
  • Able to complete a required flu vaccination (medical and religious exemptions available)

Preferred

  • Experience in a senior living, healthcare, or hospitality maintenance setting

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday. Choose between 9am–5pm or an 11am–7pm/12pm–8pm shift. Weekend rotation and holiday rotation required.
