What You'll Do:
- Administer medications safely, following state regulations and community policy
- Watch for changes in resident health and report concerns to the nursing team right away
- Keep accurate medication records for resident care and compliance
- Communicate clearly with residents, families, and coworkers
- Receive, organize, and store pharmacy deliveries and medication supplies
- Take vitals, check blood glucose, and support other wellness tasks as directed
- Help residents feel comfortable, independent, and at home
What You'll Need:
Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- Current NJDOHSS-approved Medication Aide certification
- Current, active New Jersey CMA certification
Preferred:
- Experience in long-term care or assisted living
Pay, shifts, and benefits:
- $23.00–$25.55/hr, based on experience
- Shift differentials: $2/hr evenings, $2/hr overnights, $1.50/hr weekends
- Shifts: 6a-2p or 2p-11p, with an every-other-weekend and holiday rotation
