$17.24 an hour. Pick the shift that fits your life: 6am to 2pm, 11am to 7pm, or a short 4pm to 7pm dinner shift. No experience needed. We train you after you start. Apply in minutes and hear back within 48 hours.
Who you'll care for
You'll work with the residents of The Shores, a United Methodist Communities senior living community at 2201 Bay Avenue in Ocean City, NJ. You'll serve their meals and keep their homes clean. Over time you'll learn their names, their favorite dishes, and how they like things done.
What you'll do
- Prepare and serve meals and snacks, following menus, recipes, and each resident's diet
- Handle special diets and food swaps for residents' health needs and tastes
- Help residents during meals, using the dining assistance training we give you
- Ask residents what they'd like to see on the menu
- Follow food safety, cleaning, and temperature check steps
- Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas, and do resident laundry
- Keep the kitchen stocked and organized, and report any broken equipmen
What you'll need
Required:
- Willingness Complete ServSafe and New Jersey's state-approved Paid Dining Assistant training after you're hired
- Able to read menus, recipes, and diet orders in English
- Pass a drug screen and background check
- Get a flu vaccine, or request a medical or religious exemption
Preferred:
- Any experience in food service, housekeeping, or caregiving

Per diem, covering shifts as needed. You choose from:
