What You'll Do
- Carry out treatment plans set by the supervising physical therapist for residents recovering from surgery, illness, or injury
- Guide residents through therapeutic exercises to rebuild strength, balance, and mobility
- Support residents with daily living activities as part of their rehab plan
- Track and report each resident's progress to the supervising physical therapist
- Encourage residents through sessions that are often physically and emotionally hard for them
- Document each treatment accurately and on time, following state and facility requirements
What You'll Need
Required:
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in New Jersey
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program
- 2+ years of experience as a PTA
Preferred:
- Experience in a skilled nursing, rehab, or continuing care community
Pay and Benefits
- $40.00 per hour, guaranteed rate
- This is a per diem position.
- Flexible scheduling: choose weekday and weekend shifts as they're available, with no minimum hour commitment

Per diem. Shifts are weekdays and weekends, based on availability and resident care needs.
