Join our HomeWorks team in New Jersey. This per diem opportunity offers hourly pay ranging from $17.50-$21.50, with rates varying based on the assignment, schedule, level of support provided, and weekend coverage needs. Day, evening, and overnight shifts are available to accommodate a variety of availability preferences.

About the Community
UMC HomeWorks, the home care division of United Methodist Communities, has supported older adults throughout New Jersey for more than 100 years. Our Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) provide one-on-one assistance to clients in Camden, Burlington, Gloucester, Atlantic, Cape May, Salem, and Cumberland counties, helping individuals remain comfortable and supported in their home environment while working alongside an experienced nursing team.

What You'll Do

Assist clients with personal care activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility support
Monitor and record basic health observations, communicating updates to the nursing team as needed
Support meal preparation, dining assistance, and light household tasks
Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and community activities
Provide companionship and meaningful engagement through conversation and daily interaction

What You'll Need
Required:

Current, active New Jersey CHHA certification
High school diploma or GED
18 years of age or older

Preferred:

Previous experience providing care or support in a home or community setting

Pay & Benefits

$17.50-$21.50 per hour, based on assignment details and scheduling needs
$500 referral bonus for eligible CHHA referrals
Mileage reimbursement between client visits
