What You'll Do:
- Assist with medication administration under state regulations and delegated responsibilities
- Watch for changes in residents' condition and report medication concerns to the nursing team promptly
- Keep accurate medication records for care and compliance
- Take vital signs, check blood glucose, and support other wellness tasks as directed
- Receive and store pharmacy deliveries and medication supplies
- Build day-to-day relationships with residents and their families
What You'll Need:
Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- Active New Jersey CNA certification and/or current NJDOHSS-approved Medication Aide certification
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Preferred:
- Experience in long-term care or assisted living
