Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)

Earn $17.50–$21.50/hour as a Certified Home Health Aide with UMC HomeWorks. Choose your own schedule — days, evenings, or nights — caring for seniors in their homes across South Jersey.

United Methodist Communities has been named a Great Place to Work for 9 years running. As a HomeWorks CHHA, you'll work one-on-one with clients in Camden, Burlington, Gloucester, Atlantic, Cape May, Salem, and Cumberland counties, building real relationships instead of rushing between rooms.

What You'll Do

  • Help clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility
  • Record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
  • Prepare meals, assist with feeding, and do light housekeeping
  • Provide transportation and run errands for appointments
  • Offer companionship and steady, familiar support

What You'll Need
Required:

  • Current, active New Jersey CHHA certification
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 18 years of age or older

Preferred:

  • Prior home care or caregiving experience

Pay & Benefits

  • $17.50–$21.50/hour, based on shift, level of care, and weekend assignment
  • $500 referral bonus for CHHA hires you refer
  • Mileage reimbursement between client visits

Schedule
Per diem, with flexible day, evening, and night shifts available. Weekend availability increases your hours.
